Cluck & Squeal Island Chili with Bold Browning & Tasty Hot

The best new school Island Chili recipe – This non-traditional Chili recipe is simple to make and full of flavour. A new classic you can't miss. This recipe will change the way you think about Chili. 
Cluck & Squeal Bold Browning & Tasty Hot

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lbs. ground meat (1 lb. of each is nice venison & beef/pork or beef and pork)

  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp Mild Chili powder
  • A total of 2.5 Tbsp Cluck & Squeal BOLD BROWNING Seasoning & BBQ Rub
    • 1 Tbsp to preseason meat
    • 1.5 Tbsp to Stir in 10 – 15min before the chili is finished cooking
  • 2 Cups diced Red or Green pepper (or mix both)
  • 1 Cup diced sweet onion
  • 19-oz (540ml) can black or pinto beans drained and rinsed – OPTIONAL, LOL!
  • 28-oz (796ml) can diced tomatoes
  • 1.5 Cup Puree or Fine Chopped Tomato’s
  • 1 Cup Beef broth (low sodium)
  • 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tsp Himalayan or Sea Salt
  • ½ Tsp Cluck & Squeal Tasty Hot pure chili pepper blend (½ tsp = warm, 1 tsp = medium hot) Stir in 10 – 15min before the chili is finished cooking
  • 1 Cup raisins (smallest size you can source – Thompson raisins is what I use) Stir in 10 – 15min before the chili is finished cooking 

TOP IT UP

Toppings below are optional, but I always enjoy my Chili with or without them.
Approximate measurements for each serving
  • 1 Tbsp Sour Cream dollop
  • ¼ Cup Sliced or cubed avocado
  • 1 Tsp Chopped cilantro
  • 1 Tsp or a squeeze of Lime
  • Corn Tortilla Chips for scooping
